It was a real pleasure to honour two local community champions from Chesham and Amersham at Downing Street earlier this month. Restore Hope Latimer founder Gary Grant and Chesham Stags President Cliff Davis have given so much to our local community, it is only right they got the thanks they deserve.
Gary Grant founded Restore Hope Latimer 20 years ago to support the most vulnerable people and families in our community through a variety of means. He also led the building of the new Amersham Scout Hut.
Cliff Davis is President of Chesham Stags Rugby Club as well as editor of much-loved local publications YourChesham and YourAmersham.
Our area is very lucky to have these two gentleman working hard to improve the lives of those around them and we should all look to them for inspiration.
