Gareth Williams is hoping to become your next MP. He has started by listening to residents about what you think are the top priorities for our area.
When Rishi Sunak visited Chesham and Amersham recently, Gareth took your concerns right to the top.
Gareth said, "A big thank you to the thousands of people who have responded to my "what matters to you" survey on doorsteps, through the mail and online. I know how important it is to have an MP who not only listens, but then actually takes action and delivers results."
"I am taking our concerns, including protecting our greenbelt and helping with the cost of living, directly to Rishi Sunak, Ministers and the Council."
The Prime Minister told Gareth he was "focusing on exactly the right priorities for your community. I'm joined at the hip with you about protecting our greenbelt, I know that's important to your residents here."
Gareth is already hard at work, delivering for local residents, businesses and community groups:
He helped launch the Buckinghamshire Helping Hands Scheme, providing millions in aid to those in need. Working in partnership with charities across the area, Gareth led the council and community groups' response to covid. Gareth has been a debt counsellor with a local charity for many years, he knows and understands the current cost of living pressures.
Gareth co-designed the local business support scheme during the Covid crisis, helping save many local businesses and jobs and setting up the first Buckinghamshire Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair - matching employers with those seeking work.
Local Conservatives are delivering real action on HS2, such as securing a redesign to the Amersham vent shaft. Gareth is now putting pressure on HS2 to deliver funding to repair our damaged roads.
It's not too late to tell Gareth what matters to you. Just go to www.tellgareth.com. It only takes a few minutes and your responses are really valuable.
