- Securing £5 million for this year alone to fix broken roads
A vigorous opponent of HS2, Gareth has been instrumental in securing resources and galvanising action at Bucks Council:
- Fighting obtrusive design plans for the Amersham vent shaft
- Encouraging the hiring of a dedicated HS2 Marshall service to hold HS2 to account locally
- Demanding HS2 pay for the damage caused by them to our roads
- Preventing HS2 from cutting down local ancient woodlands
