Gareth Williams and your local Conservative representatives are all deeply concerned to have been notified by Barclays Bank that it will be closing the Chalfont St Peter branch at the end of August. We are writing to them to request that they reconsider this decision, pointing out that this is now the only bank in this area serving not only this village but many surrounding towns and villages as well.
This closure will impact both residents and businesses, many without online banking or cars to drive to Uxbridge as suggested, with the resultant charges for parking or ULEZ.
